/bad dog mode on.
Well there is passive action and also active disruption. In a non jail manner.
1. Who is it currently

https://www.electoralcommission.org...ferendums/past-elections-and-referendums From there you can see most of them.
So what do you do about it if they have really got under your skin and the friday night pub session shows a few other people feel the same. Well there is nothing as good as a hobby with some mates for a laugh.
Form a local party and stand.
https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/candidate-or-agent/local-elections-englandMost councillors will have people not keen on them for whatever reason. If you feel your councillor is not being active enough in some areas remind them that they can be removed.
Have a look at how many votes they won buy in the last election. (local or central)
All you need to do is disrupt for that many votes.
As expressed on this board a few times "none of the above" is a remarkably strong silent sentiment.
So find out who their nemesis is. See if they have spare campaign funding going.
Run an alternative single point campaign and collect the disaffected.
"Vote for pothole repair, Cllr X cancelled this funding"
"Vote to get rid of 20mph blanket limits which are causing YYYY, Cllr X supported this waste of our living minutes."
You can split enough votes out to change things if done well. If only because you represent a local, real element they can identify with and understand. I always look where I can put my local election vote based on causes and stuff I can find in Google. You can also see what they voted for on various sites.
Of course there is a marginal risk you find the silent mass is a bit more pi__ed off than you gave it credit for and they vote you in.
Still it would make good coverage on the 6pm news (if they still actually cover factual topics that is).
Only a matter of time.
/bad dog mode stays on, it's monday and I am grumpy.
