We have two petrol stations on the Wirral charging 143 p litre ! The other nearby charging from 163 to 169 per litre !
I know some of you will say it will be low grade petrol but it comes from same refinery as Shell and others !
There are plenty of Porsches and otther cars filling up there !
We are being ripped off !

I know this topic has been covered

Nevertheless prices are creeping up, particularly diesel. There were quite a few local stations charging less for diesel than E10 a few months ago, up to 10p more now!

My car gets premium from the supermarkets way more often than the big brands, Costco also do great prices if you have a card ?

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The curious thing is that yesterday I passed a local filling station twice. Between 13:30 and 16:30 (ish) they had reduced their price by around 3p a litre.

I would image a spike in fuel costs would be hard to manage with those who drive a lot and I have a few friends where this can be detrimental to them financially. Since covid and now working from home almost full time, thankfully this doesn't affect me as much.

Right or wrong, when it comes to my personal car (the 4/4), I fill up with Shell premium 100% of the time. Yes, it is more expensive but I have peace of mind knowing what I am getting. Skipping a Costa or Starbucks that week evens it out smile

@Ewan, just doubled? wink
