Darn, you are right, I have a brain that is small, full and constantly overwriting data.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Whoever made the invalid buddies does not matter, it gave the 200/210cc Karters a lot of cheap engines. LoL.

At one time, there was a scrap yard adjacent to the Wolverhampton 21 flight of locks with several very large stacks of pale blue invalid cars.
They weren’t the best solution to that problem but they gave mobility to a lot of people.

Interesting "restoring classics" episode although the mystery starting bid of £3000 on the Honda CBR600 was suspicious. Nice to see an interesting less common car this time. I noticed the blocked breather on rear axle turned into a full rebuild though . Strange comments from one of Derek's lieutenants stating that soft tops were a waste of time in the UK. Obviously recorded before someone made him aware of global warming and the hardiness of Morgan owners.

I'll have to wait for the repeat Rich. Yes, the GTE and GTC were interesting cars. An acquaintance of mine does repairs/rebuilds on them (and other such vehicles including microcars) over in Gloucester. He currently has a Middlebridge Scimitar in, which has turned into a major refurb. As per usual, when starting these things an ever increasing list of work appears! It prompted me to buy a book mainly on the Scimitar history, but gave a very brief history of Reliant. John and Richard (both suffix V6) may remember a very early 3-wheeled Reliant in a Norfolk car museum

Yes, Reliant made the 3 wheeler vehicles they were the main stay of their production as the 3 wheelers were under 8cwt they could be driven on a motorcycle licence. I learned to drive in one before I was old enough to have a car licence. Handling was not as bad as Top Gear made out (they used an incline turn), but they did have a tendency to catch fire as the petrol feed to the carb, was a known weak point and could detach itself and pour hot petrol onto the engine. Fibreglass does deform quite quickly when heat is applied to it, I know from experience and tend to be more cautious when driving a fibreglass built car, as doors can deform quite quickly making exit more difficult.
