Wales indiscipline led to their downfall unfortunately, but well done Pumas.
I notice during the National Anthems of the Ireland v NZ that the Irish had two flags displayed, that of Eire and of Ulster which makes them a combined team not just solely Eire. (Just a minor point Rich)😉

Great game and bad luck Eire - the Kiwis just seemed a bit more organised this time around. Johnny Sexton has been a delight to watch over the years, he will be missed by many. I missed the anthems, point taken  .. they also have at least two ex Kiwis onboard I know

They had 3 Kiwi's in the starting line up, Lowe, Bundi and Gibson Parkes. I commented in an earlier post that the quarters finals were Irelands loadstone.......brilliant game right up to the end. The AB's certainly turned uo to play. There had been a lot of Irish comments and criticism of the referee before the game as Barnes is renown for not allowing infringements as the Irish found out to their cost in the opening quarter.

Well what a game and full respect for Fiji, their tries were moments of magic.
France and the Sprinboks next - my money is on France.

Excellent game, Fiji were outstanding in the second half. Give them a few more years and they will become a real force to be reckoned with . as they are in the 7's. My money was on Fiji winning today, I didn't think that England's previous performance would resist the flying Fijians. Whilst I glad to have been proven wrong on this occasion, we really need to pull our socks up if we are to progress any further in the competition. Well done Fiji, you gave us an entertaining and suspense filled game. Well at least we made the semi's.

The Boks - France match is a stupendous level of rugby.
Amazing and congratulations to the Springboks, showing us all exactly why they are the encumbents.

Great game, outstanding rugby. I do seem to recollect posting that the Spring Boks were the dark horse, and they found their kicking game although they did forgo two possibly penalty kicks in the second half and came away with no points as a result. Looking increasingly like a NZ v Spring Boks final............

A much closer game than I thought it would be, but once the English subs came on we started to give penalties away with the scrum and the inevitable final 3 points penalty to take a one point lead. Well done England, should be an interesting weekend lets see if we can finish 3rd. Not quite sure what will will do for international rugby until the 6 nations comes along!
