Just quick request. Anyone got a wiring diagram for the rear of a 2011 4/4. Thanks.
My rear red fog light has given up, but the reversing white is working. Latest diagram I have shows a common feed & earth. The diagram I have is one of those that just shows loom & plugs. Which I find rather unhelpful. ( obviously I have checked the usual suspects)

You tested it with the headlights on? (just checking)

Dave, Yes. But thanks for the hint. The loom diagram I have is useless. But I guess the red/yellow wire must go back to the instrument cluster (CanBus ?)

Morgan wiring diagrams became difficult for owners after a supplier change. If you need help, ask.

Probably already done but I had a problem with corroded 'pin connections' on the back of the light itself - accessible from spare wheel opening.

Check corrosion as said but also is the switch connected OK on the dash. I think it will have a locking tab in the centre of the black connector block that can come loose.

If checks on the bulb, fuse, wiring etc don’t result in a solution then you are left with the dash switch and a module behind the dash. Check the switch. If ok then it could be the module. This is a pcb device that cancels the fog light to off when you come out of dipped headlights/switch the lights off. It was introduced to prevent the rear fog light being left on when not needed.
I had this problem in my Plus 8 . I struggled to get a new module via a dealer or the factory. Plenty for an older Plus 8 but not my 2002 car. I was about to order a unit from CarBuilderSolutions and sort the wiring when a last look under a magnifier revealed a couple of iffy solder joints on the circuit board. I carefully re-soldered them and the fogs worked from then on. I might still have some photos of the module and circuit inside. I took them to send to a deale.
Good luck with your car!

Icepack, you can download the 2006 - 2014 Classics parts book here. It includes various wiring schematics at the end including the rear loom for your car - look for V6 Ford rear harness, likely the last one, it will be similar if not identical. As suggested the rear fog circuit is via a headlamp module which may be seen in the dashboard schematic assuming this is applicable to your car, otherwise part of the infamous PCB. Note the former has its own standalone 5 amp fuse and inhibits fog light until headlamps selected.

You can certainly check the rear wiring tracing the generically coded red/yellow wire but have you checked the 7.5 amp rear fog fuse 5? Check also all related connectors, I counted six! Basically you have the switch which grounds a connection on the headlamp module which conditionally passes current from feed fuse 5 to a red/yellow wire, this continues via dash connector to main loom then on to rear loom and light connectors. You will note there are two of latter to allow twin reverse and/or fog lights to suit differing country regs.

Regarding interpreting the loom schematics, all the info you need is present providing you have the patience to trace the wire codes, a colour abbreviation followed by a unique number.
