Hello. I am now starting a frame up restoration of the 1964 Morgan 4/4 series B928. The chassis has some rust and the front members are damaged. It seems the car had an accident and these parts was poorly repaired and I have to change it. To do this I need the blueprints with measures. Can you help me to get it?

Probably easier to start with a replacement chassis rather than repair the existing one.
Not sure there are any blueprints available for the chassis

When I did the 4 seater resto I took it right back to the chassis ..... even with relatively mild tin-worm, by the time proper welded repairs were done (one of the few jobs I farmed out to qualified experts) and it had been blasted and coated the cost was right up there with a new chassis (which weren't as expensive as I expected) ... the decider for me was philosophical rather than logical, as I had decided at the start I wanted to preserve as much of the car's original metal as possible ... probably not the most sensible approach as I spent months of extra effort in repairing things that would have been easily replaced ... however, it was lockdown so it was more productive than jigsaw-puzzles and rum!! 🙂 ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/11/03/20200421_144326.jpeg) K

Thank you for your reply. For me it's difficult to bring a chassis to Mexico City because of the shipment cost. Lorne, from GoMog sent me a draw with measures. Now I have a reference to check my chassis. I'll sandblast it and I'll check if I can reinforce it or I'll have to look for a new one. Best regards

Alfredo ... the one good thing about the Morgan chassis is that it is a simple thing .... any decent local metal fabricator should be able to mend any part of it.
