I have heard of this before. Dan at Krazey Horse mentioned the same thing with one of the Bentley colours which actually links to a Lotus colour. I think colour is more important than where it’s from . I spotted one in Rutters in this colour and decided it was the one for me.
Strange how people always go for an exclusive brand colour, why not Dacia Arizona orange rather than Bentley burnt orange for example. It would have tickled my sense of humer to choose a Dacia colour. Unfortunately they don’t offer a metallic maroon. My PlusFour is Bentley Midnight Emerald Green........, sorry Same as mine. We bought it eight years ago and I had spent hours on the car configurator trying every colour imaginable. As we pulled into Bell and Collville, my wife saw their demonstrator and said "that's the colour" without even knowing it was prefixed "Bentley" - and so that was the colour we ordered. It's become quite popular and a very nice colour it is too!
