Hi all not been around much sadly and car has sat for a while so time for a new battery.
I seem to be getting various options from a 049 to 075 for my car so thus my question
Any tips on choice ?
Thanks Paul

IIRC, 049 is a bit basic 'old spec' and only 49Ah, be careful as I think 075 has the +- terminals reversed to the 049, best to take your old battery into a reputable local supplier and check the base size and in particular height (ht is restricted in a Mog because of the shock absorber mount roll hoop)

Hi Paul,
I put one of these in my previous 2006 4/4. I think I'm going to need another for my current car soon.

I've had good service from Hankook batteries. Keenly priced and good longevity. Seven so far in narrowboat, Mini and Land Rover. It will be a no brainer when Morton is due one.

Remember batteries are consumables so it simply doesn't make financial or practical sense to buy the most expensive.

075 is the correct generic size BTW as here.

Thank you everyone

Funny the Varta came up on Tayna batteries.
