Maybe its reduced the thermal shock caused by the previous ECU software.

We had the ecu reflash a few weeks ago exactly as Dave describes, hot air around the tootsies though is poor and we need some sealing around the bottom of the doors which might help the situation, Em

Hi Em, ref your door seals.. Not sure what year your Plus Six is, but ours is late 2020, originally on our Plus Six the door seal from the lock area that then goes down along the bottom of the door and up to 1/3rd at the front was a thin'ish seal. Ours did not seal very well, so the dealer fitted a pair of the larger updated lower door seals which came into production around early 2022 ( I think ) . The later door seal is about 10mm wide and slightly thicker, it is a lot wider than the earlier type. These have worked well.

I also found there was a seal gap with the sidescreens fitted in the area above the door lock. By inserting a section of round neoprene up and into the end of the existing hollow sidescreen seal in that area and extending it down to the height of the door sealed the gap very well and it almost looks "factory" fit.

I can send you some photos of it all if you are interested..

Yep, the extreme thermal shock was a significant factor in the early rad failures

On the subject of heating, what are chaps views on the amount of airflow coming from the lower vents. My flow is minimal & yes, I have selected the lower vents!
