Thanks Dave Using that, the 185/70 option has an overall tyre diameter of 25.2" compared to 25.39" so pretty close.

Avon ZZRs, although Vredesteins are favoured by some in the know

Definitely Toyo proxes. Very good in rain. You can buy 4 for the price of an Avon!

Definately staying with the original tyre dimensions i.e. Toyo 330's or the like.
The reasoning behind selling my 1993 +8 and buying the 4/4 Sport was totally the stripped down back to basics look which of course includes the no spare wheel narrow body/skinny wheels look. The amount of non Morgan owners that comment on the lines of the car endorse my thoughts on it.

Ive used Toyo's on my MX5.......probably the most recommended make on the forums for those...and been very pleased with them.
I questioned the choice of tyres at the factory once and was told that Conti made them for the factory...certainly I've never seen them for sale anywhere. Have them fitted to my MX5 as well, and I am really impressed with the roadholding and the wear rate seems more than reasonable.
