Hello Alistair!

Nice to have a close neighbor! Ana Maria and I hope to drive to Portugal sometime next year!

Don't hesitate to contact us if you plan to come to Spain. We're in Madrid!

Best regards

Can I add my name to the list of those welcoming you to the forum Alistair... For sure Morgans are extra special and require a bit of looking after, though no doubt Red3 has advised you well enough on the reality of ownership... and of course all the enjoyment to be had by owning and driving something a little bit different... ? (-:

Some years back my late wife and I drove through a corner of Portugal in our Morgan on the way home to central Scotland from Los Romanes in the South of Spain, this back road was rippled for mile after mile, testing both the Mog`s suspension and us..(-: The weather and scenery as we drove through the hills was just wonderful, passing over a large dam in the process.... Will try to attach a pic, from the trip, clearly showing the bark of the trees having been stripped of cork, as well as another interesting Portuguese river crossing.

I hope you enjoy creating as many happy memories in your Morgan when it arrives Alastair, as did my wife and I, in our many adventures over the years.

Welcome to TM Alistair! May we (you, Red3 and myself) meet one day with our M3Ws and compare times going up Caramulo! wink

Edit - Richard, we met already, but it was ages ago, when Alistair still couldn't understand what made his own brother travel through Europe in such a ... contraption! laugh2

Thanks everyone for the welcome.

Having seen the work Calum did here on his visit I do question my sanity. As he said, it was a good trip. The car was reliable, only one wheel fell off. (it didn't fall off completely, so guess that doesn't really count as unreliable?).

Caramulo is for sure happening.... once I have an M3W, and it is running, the wheels are attache, and..... I guess reliable and definite have different meanings in terms of M3Ws?

Looking forward to meeting up. Portugal is a beautiful part of the world with mainly great weather. Cheers

Thanks Richard, met Mario in Cascais when Calum was here. Already been picking his brain on who can manage the import bureaucracy in Portugal. Thanks Mario
