Thanks for posing Richard, we've just driven back from N Wales to S Yorks today, the weather was surprisingly frosty and and has not thawed on the route back all day, the freezing mist hung low over Bala Lake looked amazing this morning
Glad you enjoyed it Jon, that would have been a nice scenic trip pity about the frost though we haven't seen much of that here yet.
We threaded our way along the lovely winding route through Wales on the way to dropping No 2 Daughter off at Aberystwyth to study law, a good run from here but lovely scenery with the September hues everywhere. That was a few years back now though must do it again.

Remember the old days of watching the Lancia and Tr8 being driven in earnest. The Lancia could be heard entering the stage miles away and usually had the rear missing with big megaphone trumpet exhausts !
