Hmm, that's a challenge. I'll see what I can come up with although I am no journalist. Fingers crossed - unfortunately many of us (as mentioned on this thread) have offered to write stuff and been ignored.

It isn't the articles or content that is my gripe, it is the layout. Small type and lots of white space, and the members adverts are even smaller.

I've been an on and off Porsche club GB member over the last 20 years or so, the magazine is very impressive but still a bit 'samey' after a while.......
Everything, all the topics, go around every few years, I'm sure the must be a pattern........ It's always going to be tricky to please everyone.
With the porsche folk there are waaaaay more factions than in Morgan world.......... 356, swb, lwb, impact bumpers, front engine, water cooled, air cooled ++++.........! At least with Morgan folk there are only 3 wheels, 4 wheels, trad and CX......🙃😆
PCGB went through a huge shake up a couple of years ago when an attempted coup took place to try and oust the board by a group who were unhappy with the way things were done. PCGB is a big business with a club house and a large turnover. They are very close to Porsche, if not actually bankrolled by them. I'm sure someone will come along and confirm that in a while.....

Just scanning the latest Miscellany to arrive out here and I see that the East Anglia contingent are going to meet at Corpse corner at Silverstone , I do hope not... Hoping to catch up with a few Morgan happenings during my upcoming England trip, who will be at Revival from these pages?

Surely a typo and no reflection on the current circumstances of the East Anglia Contingent?

I sent this email on Oct 15 last year; quote: "Why not offer the alternative of a digital-only Membership, for say half-price ? Miscellany is a good read a couple of times, thereafter it just takes-up space. Ads would appear within a time-frame that means advertisers' offerings would still be current (often "gone" by the time they appear in Miscellany)". No reply or even acknowledgment. It appears MSCC are taking up the suggestion, at least in part. From next year Miscellany will be digital-download for overseas members. Print versions will still be available for members prepared to pay the cost. Apparently the average annual cost of sending the mag outside of Europe is £120, £50 more than the subscription fee.

We had no choice given the costs. There are no plans to have an electronic version in the UK so far

I also wrote in a year or so ago suggesting a digital magazine for a discount. I didn't suggest 50% maybe 10%. I received no acknowledgement or reply
