I don´t forget my first (and much safer) ride with TT2 on wet roads after some dangerous situations on wet roads with the former Contis!

I believe that the Contis are maximally good for trailers. The 4/4 is so light and the Contis have grip for vehicles weighing 2 tons or more. The TT2 behave well with approx. 800 kg weight.

Little bit late in the discussion, I had 4 Michelins XZX 155-15 fitted in 2020 om my 4/4 and I am very satisfied with them. Had Vredestein Classic Sprints. Michelin XAS's, Uniroyal etc, before, but the XZX's are really very good, also good handling in wet and cold, something that made me decide to part of the Vredesteins earlier than planned. Michelin XAS's are far too expensive these days because they are official in the Classic range now, so the XZX's were very good alternatives and also recommended by my Morgan Specialist in The Netherlands. Typing this down, I realize that on the tire is printed: made in Siberia............., so I assume Michelin produces them now somewhere else or not at all at present......?? confused2

Yes folks, I can confirm....

I have a set of five Vredestein T-Trac2 165/80 R15 for sale. They were (in fact four still are, as I type this) fitted to wheels, but have never been on a car. Reason is that 165/80 will not fit the spare wheel bay of older 'bustle back' cars, including my own DHC. Hence, I bought these a few weeks ago and have now had to substitute 155s.

It'll be £200 for the set, but collection from Edinburgh.

PM me, and I'll be sticking them on the 'for sales' when I get them off.

Cheers, Colin
