Thanks Jens - a nice video thumbs

Now says "this video isnt available any more"

Youtube often has to remove them over copyright issues, sometimes the poster will remove them as well.

Case in point my Youtube link to Anoushka at the Proms had to be removed over BBC copyright.

I well remember with the advantage of rose tinted glasses and nostalgia turner up to max, riding around on my 59 Dommie, with my Belstaf`s jacket pockets stuffed with all sorts of tools, such as a link extractor spare chain links, even an occasional clutch cork, and definitely a couple of spark plugs and so much more, if I was heading out of town by a few miles...

Perhaps interesting ( or not) that when decades later heading out to tour a bit of France for the first time and in my mid 80`s +8, Such was my education as to the possible fabled Morgan foibles that might test me, although my Belstaff had long gone long before they became a style icon,,,, I spent some time contemplating just which tools best to carry taking up the further space restrictions created by my good lady`s little essentials to feel comfortable while in company.... Fortunately in quite a few thousand miles of European touring the old Mog surprised me greatly by being a tad more reliable than mu over tuned up old Brit m/cycles of years past, the Mog only requiring one fan belt change and a bit of rubber tube used to replace a hardened and cracked rubber moulded carb fuel supply elbow in all that mileage abroad...Good old Mog..(-:

I suspect modern engineering advances that advantaged the design of the ICE perhaps reached peak reliability and self reliance in terms of home repair in the 80`s, for those baby boomers with traces of oil under their fingernails.. and perhaps more so with that which the likes of Honda and others had learned from the Brits in terms of the handling expectations of Brit m/cyclists in our "varied" climate... ? (-:
Never got round to owning an early Harley, unfortunately, but having ridden a shovelhead XLH (?) for a short distance, it was felt to be too heavy to enjoy earholeing around my usual back roads...

I wonder if Cal Rayborn`s teaching session at Oulton might be available on YT..... Currently heading to YT... again... (-:

1973 Brands Hatch, Cal wins on a Harley, Peter Williams second and John Cooper gets a mention and from a very dull memory think Williams and Cooper were riding john Player Nortons.
Last time I attended the IOM TT was 1975 on an 850 Norton Commando... Happy days... (-:

Advise cutting out the first 22 secs out to miss the intro "music".

I don’t think this qualifies with the thread title but in going through old samples of t shirts we printed I found this . Not sure how accurate it is as we were just given the drawing to print. We have so much tut to get rid of before any downsizing ! Off on the Spanish wedding and euro road trip in an hour. Fires raging not too far away but hopefully the venue will not be burnt to the ground…….
Best MM
