Thanks, Rich.
That pot of beef dripping looks very good. Looking forward to seeing the finished product of your sausage roll.

Thatcher's Zero for me. Its a non alcohol that is actually palatable Have you tried Erdinger? It's really good and doesn't taste like alcohol free.
Best Regards Lang may yer lum reek

Was in Jersey over the summer and had a few scoops in this pub. They certainly liked their malts and we're happy to pay stupid money for them, the Hakusha was £75 a shot! As I said recently on another thread, a fool and his money..... The Lamplighter has an excellent selection of ales ciders and beers as well and is always happy to pull a mouthful to sample, they also used to sell beer by the nip so you could sample more beers, but I do not think they still do.

Here we go Sportster, hot and smelling delicious but these will be on their way down to Cornwall with us for our Son and his good lady on Tuesday, ours will be cooked later in the week. They are fantastic with Onion Chutney or Picalllii washed down with a bottle of Nelson's Revenge ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2023/12/17/sr.jpeg)

....hot and smelling delicious For several years in the 1980s I worked in an office close to Selfridges. I highly recommend their perfume department ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/12/17/Miss-Dior.jpeg)

Rich, thanks for the pic. Looks delicious! Beam a couple of them to me ( ie. Star Trek transporter ).
It’s a perfect hand held bite.

Many years ago (45 maybe ?) we went on a cruise along the coast of Norway on some sort of tramp steamer. I recall the menu was long on pickled herring, the antidote to which seemed to be some rather excellent cloud berry liqueur ("Lakka" I believe, served well iced). Can't say I've ever found it anywhere else; anyone have any suggestions for buying it in the uK ?
