This worth a shot hide wine
Wow, good spot. At that price I might have to sell the spare wheel on the Roadster to fund it. snowgrin

Excellent, thanks, and marginally less unaffordable. The label even looks like I remember it across the elapsed 4 decades. Shame that "....captures the pure taste of arctic berries, gently ripened by nightless summer days and freshened by autumn mists" makes it sound a bit like one of those annoying laundry freshener ads ! (or perhaps Monty Python's crunchy frog: ...we use only the finest baby frogs, dew-picked and flown from Iraq, cleansed in the finest quality spring water, lightly killed, and sealed in a succulent, Swiss, quintuple-smooth, treble-milk chocolate envelope, and lovingly frosted with glucose.

Hope it works ok when they get it in again, your memory is a bit worrying with MP rofl but very commendable.

I use DuckDuckgo as my search engine since Alistair (the brain) advised us it was a good clean one and it works well for me.

You have got me started now - I like the sound of the Valhalla shots snowlaugh

Wife and I took our daughter and her boyfriend out for her birthday last night. Had a really good Classic Old Fashioned ( 59 ml bourbon whiskey, 3-4 dashes of Angostura aromatic bitters, 22 ml simple syrup made with brown sugar, and orange peel ).

Not a problem, Rich. Sometimes one thing can lead to something else more interesting. No rules in this thread as far as I’m concerned.

Thread drift.

I have to say the ability to communicate with people all over the world through the internet like this is quite an incredible thing. You all are throwing out cultural bits of language use or names of things I’m not familiar with and I look it up immediately on the internet and I’ve learned something. The only way people could communicate with any immediacy with people in other countries before the internet was by short wave radio or the telephone and that was one on one conversation. The internet as a communication and learning tool is unparalleled.

Just saying I really appreciate this and happy I live in a time I’m able to do it.

This is Hershey my internet buddy. She was an abused rescue dog we got from the local humane society and with a lot of love is now a big lap dog.

See Rich, you’re not the only drifter.

This is alcohol related.

Let’s put a proper face on the Malvern Arms and it can have many faces. When I think of the Malvern Arms, I think of the Crown and Greyhound Pub in West Dulwich Village, London. I stayed in Dulwich Village October, November, and December of 1985 and would take the train to London Bridge Station and then the tube to the vicinity of Moorfields Eye Hospital where I would spend every day. So when I think of Malvern Arms, I picture the Crown and Greyhound Pub. Show us a picture of your favorite pub and all of these collectively can become the Malvern Arms.

Picture is a Google Earth iPad screen shot.

I

Here is our local early 17th Century in the heart of the village opposite the church. It's the only one in the village and absolutely thrives as the owners are a youngish partnership putting on events that surprise all and they are perfect hosts.
