The past summer this started getting worse and worse. Started with a squeal with clutch depressed clutch depressed during startup. Now almost every time I depress the clutch it the throwout bearing is growling. I am not in a position to do this myself but there are several local Morgan specialists. My question is Is it easier to drop the transmission (Moss box) or pull the engine, which has additional billet rad overflow tank, and other accessories.

If my memory is working, you can't drop the Moss box . the engine has to come out almost vertical.did it once on my 69 +8 not an easy job.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Cowl off, rad out, engine out, clutch linkage disconnected
You can then get the sleeve out.
Having said that, might be worth taking the bellhousing out and checking the sleeve for ovality and wear in the linkage slot

If you have the motor out then for the modest cost it's worth renewing the clutch while you're at it (unless you know it's recent) ... most of the cost of a clutch is the engine removal and replacenent.
