Peter I found something very similar on my drive a while back, no idea where it came from. I put it somewhere safe in case i found out where it belonged, do you think I can find it now banghead

I reckon that the SMMT were scattering them from drones to scare puzzled owners into visiting their local garage .... you heard it here first! ... now, where's my tinfoil hat?? ... I'm sure it was here ... stolen by aliens for sure!! 😮

Thank you, RichardV6. Those old bolts are so encased in fossilized grease it's a challenge to imagine how tight they were supposed to be!

Good Morganing all
The rubber edging/sealing around the top and side edges of our side screen frames has come away at the mitred corners (1996 Plus 8). I have tried rubber cement such as used on bike tyres (was recommended by tyre garage) but it is not holding together. Do any of you more experienced members have any clues as to what glue would be successful?
I am thinking, when I find a suitable glue I will cut a small patch of rubber to stick to the inside over the mitre to strengthen it. Would that be good idea or would it look NAF?
Thank you all in anticipation.

Happy Miles.

Cyanoacrylate glue works very well on rubber, more commonly known as Super Glue

The secret is to fully remove all traces of any old glues and even scalpel a sliver off to get a really clean new face ready to bond

I’ve successfully used a contact adhesive (Evostick).

I got the starboard bumper tube assembly off the Morgan's subframe this afternoon.
This is no small feat considering that the dermatologist removed a quarter-sized piece of skin covering one of my knuckles.
Tomorrow I'll tackle the port assembly.
The project is moving right along, it's moving slowly, but moving along none the less.
