The plan seems to be "joining between 35 & 40 other Morgan cars and their likeminded occupants" which sounds like a recipe chaos on the roads, keep up at the back there!
I am keen to drive this area and hope to do so soon, but I'm sure one could do a lot better on accommodation costs than £1500 per night! For that money I would expect food, accommodation, a car and fuel to be provided, but perhaps I'm being unrealistic!

Yeah. doing some quick calculations in my head, and assuming 40 cars, that's £128.000 for a map and a chase vehicle.

Hero ERA as partner. Aren’t they the HERO rally peopke? If so then no wonder it’s not cheap! They organise several events for classics to varying from first timers to experienced. Some good events but along the lines of a competitive rally, albeit with public roads and restrictions. I went with Ray to see one where they had a timed lap round Chepstow racecourse. A wide range of prepped cars.

That is expensive. I did the Picos and Pyrenees last year 14 nights staying in Paradores for way less than £5900 including ferries from Plymouth-Santander and Le Havre-Portsmouth

I'm doing a navigational tour of the Alps in September. It's an annual tour, privately organised. Price per 2-man crew, including B&B, evening meal and wine is 1550 Euro. You have to provide your own map though.

I am not sure if there might be different levels of operation within the various Hero rallies..? I think some may have backup mechanics to help handle repairs and recovery, and some have off road tests along the route, Also on the test sections the organisers may make use of local car clubs to marshal some of the off-road sections...? I guess much may depend upon the choice and location of hotels relative to the overall costing...? Below some pics I took on the R&BT section of a Hero LeJog some years back Le Jog..? Landsend to John o` Groats Headed up to The Rest & Be Thankful today to grab a few pics of the Hero rally competitors driving up the old road. Unfortunately no Morgan entrants. A bit cold and windy, though dry and sunny for much of the day in great scenery. If the pics do not display they can be found on page 12 of the galleries listed under HERO https://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/forums/27/12/general-photo-gallery

I saw the advert yesterday and it made me smile.....!!!😁
Perhaps a demonstration of how out of touch MMC/the Italians are with the real world and real Morgan owners.
My initial response was.....they're taking the pi$$......!!!🙃
The owners they want and the owners they have are entirely different....... I like to see the people they use in the glossy adverts....... none look like any Morgan owner I've ever seen....😆
