1100€/ 900 Gbp per day for a hire car? It's so cheap, there must be a catch!

I couldn’t think of anything more boring than going on holiday with a load of old Morgan owners travelling in a convoy, slowly , with wives that are pretending to really love being a passenger all day whilst paying 6k for the pleasure of a guided tour, a back up mechanic cos my Morgan is going to over heat and S**t itself in Cares Canyon in the Picos, whilst also being followed by a back up vehicle to carry a shed load of luggage that nobody needs, as you probably have to dress up for dining each night and suck hole holiday rep to get on the guides table to get to the front of the convoy. Oh joy. I’m in……..NOT😂🙈

When I saw the advert, I couldn't stop smiling... with no clue about the accommodation?? Five stars hotels with spa treatments included?

My wife and I run a bespoke travel agency (and we're based in Spain) and have arranged already some trips for cars and motorcycle enthusiasts (amongst them, some Morgan owners). I just can't stop giggling...

I sense a slight disenchantment with their offer... I reacted similarly, but there again I struggle to justify the cost of e.g. cruises. Truth is, having lived in Switzerland for a decade, what my wife & I really want before we pop our clogs is a stay in a characterful chalet hotel somewhere up an alp with amazing accomodation and great food. That's because it is probably a 3 Wheeler, you will get an equal offer to upsell you to a Plus 4 shortly after they get your credit card?

Well I read through it carefully -and quite liked the sound of the route however the cost is rather out-there for four days and someone paying in South Pacific Pesos , plus car hire plus ferry...

The italian owners of the MMC already seem to assume that they have a customer base similar to that of Ferrari. This travel offer is not the only one that gives this impression.

Yep that is clearly the target audience & I guess some owners are lucky enough to have the cash.

Give me €5500 and you can have full bed and board (including wine) for a week in my converted barn down here in the Pyrenees. Absolute bargain.

For that money I’d expect super-duper benefits.
Being Welsh that would be a flock of sheep.
Careful though.....there are two types of sheep.
Decoy sheep and killer sheep.
The decoys use ploys such as acting dead or flutter their eyelashes at you while wiggling their tails.
When you stop the killer sheep in hiding get you.
