(I know I've mentioned this before but I'll make no apology for saying it again, to post a link to an eBay item you should only copy the URL up to the question mark. If you copy and paste the whole thing, not only does the forum software not make the link clickable but there is a lot of encoded information in that gobblegook of numbers and letters that you probably don't want in a public forum. Note that this applies to almost any link with a ? in it).
Education needed please: How do you get the URL anyway from ebay. If I search and select an item it just says “item” where the URL would normally reside, and I cannot see it anywhere else.
Thanks.

You might need to try another browser Doug. The web page URL should appear in the browser search box. In the case of eBay copying the whole link may include search criteria as Ian mentions, and shown here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385136701855?chn=ps&_ul=GB&var=653017985584&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A1pY_wPLqERyiw4j2C2buQlA16&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=653017985584_385136701855&targetid=1647205088320&device=c&mktype=pla&googleloc=9045081&poi=&campaignid=17206177401&mkgroupid=136851690655&rlsatarget=aud-1641271186540:pla-1647205088320&abcId=9300866&merchantid=263030461&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA6KWvBhAREiwAFPZM7gKfIzf0MyGBBV9BmpfTy9f7NTkXElF0tDvx0uW75HoYnmm5nGhu6RoCSSwQAvD_BwE

All that's needed is the eBay listing number so you just copy as here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385136701855
i.e. just the first part up to but not including the first question mark.

Better still you can include link as part of a sentence here (encompassing one or several words) within url tags to provide same link.

Further embellishment below where an image becomes the link by inserting same within image tags, within url tags as below.

Makes for an illustrative and clean post.

Wise words from Richard V6 there!

check the fitting distance with a wire probe and shorten the screw length by one and a half threads so that as everything compresses on tightening you won't make contact with the glass! Same goes for the side pillar (A pillar) screen supports. If you use the correct screws you will have no problems but beware, one screw is slightly longer and fits the lowest position as the post is wider there, On reassembly make sure you do not fit it in another position as it will contact the glass, just! you might get away with it ...... or you might not! That'll cost you the best part of two grand if not! And quite a tricky fitment if you are not that mechanically minded. The bottom screen seal is a pig to fit too, yet very easy to remove, a three year old could pull it out!

I agree 100%. I would not be without my sun visors.

If I was refitting them I would make the visors with a better coverage. The factory visors leave too much gap between them and the mirror an towards the windscreen pillar.

Just thought it worth mentioning that the screw length is not the only watch point re the visor’s frame fixings. The little round threaded fixing are barely welded to the frame. Too much torque and they will easily rip off. Once broken there is no easy repair.

I once made up my own hinges from some piano hinge off cuts found on ebay.
