The law was from Jan 1 1993 on all UK registered cars. But maybe Morgan slightly bent the rules. Check with a dealer.

June 1993 the +4 T16 was fitted with a Cat by MMC. …… unfortunately.

Hello,
over here in Germany all cars with 2.0 Liter engines upwards did need catalysts since 01.01.1990.

Thank you Frank, did that mean the M16 (no cat) pre 93 and the 93 on T16 (with cat ) did not actually require a cat in Germany as they were under 2 litre (1994cc)?
