There is no Morgan dealer in Northern Ireland. If you need bits for a morgan on the island of Ireland best contact Kirwans Garage in Camolin Co Wexford Phone Number 00353 539383105 They are the best bet for anything Morgan related.

Arwyn, nothing in particular atm, just i have bought a few items recently , and UPS charges a hefty "processing fee" on top of the postage.
I bought a clutch slave cylinder from Melvyn Rutter (Fantastic service, thank you Jo, deserves a medal!)apart from the VAT and duty (thanks a mill Brexit! )
UPS charged around €17 on both occasions. Kind of irks to have to pay to receive if you know what i mean.
I have had contact with Kirwins, test drove a plus 4 there when i was searching for a Morgan. I will try them thanks.

Surely no import duties in Northern Ireland and VAT payable as in the UK, or am I missing something? I've purchased stuff privately from NI, shipping costs about the same as the rest of the UK.

You are correct. However, think this guy lives in the South (ROI) and guess he was hoping that if a Morgan dealer existed in the North, he could drive up and buy from them without the extra taxes that are imposed for direct imports to the South. There are no official borders to negotiate nowadays.

Sorry, i didn't make it clear, I live in Cork, Southern Ireland, So anything coming from Mainland
UK is subject to VAT and duty, but No extra charges are levied coming from the North so I understand.

Perhaps you could link up with a Morgan-owning friend in the North to act as a parcel drop? ... of course that might be illegal, in which case I've been hacked and suggested no such thing! 🙂
