There are some amazing prices going at the moment, CX and traditional plus 4 prices are getting closer. Rather than the 50% deposit on new, Get a year old model with 230 miles! I just found my dream car... Search for yours https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-de...amp;model=Plus%20Four&sort=relevance

What a bargain. Shame about the leather colour* though. How much would it cost to have a complete interior recoloured, do we reckon?
*Scruffy oiks wot live out in the sticks shun light colours, far too difficult to keep clean.

Agree with the interior colour, but it would soon be a dirty shade of something in my ownership!
It's also a 2022 model - but that's but that's not necessarily a bad thing
I think extras would cost more than £7k.-
I'm just having a luggage rack fitted to mine and the cost is astronomical.

Some really bad ripples in the upholstery, and the cr4p fit back of the headrests...eek, just couldn't live with that, whatever the discount !

Guessing the dealer will have paid £50k or so for it? Certainly a hefty reduction on new price.
Don’t recall any of the trads going down this road. Could it be a buyer confidence issue?

Stitching aside I'm reminded of a leather clothing manufacturer who was making a custom one piece biking suit for my business many years ago. He pointed out that when dyeing lighter colours particularly white, the tanners had to use the best parts of the hide as imperfections showed up so easily.

I remember my friend having white leather in his BMW the blue dye from his jeans stained the leather
badly.
