John, how different tastes are. I've never liked the look of the Lancia Stratos. I naturally appreciate its rally merits. When it comes to Italian perfection, the Ferrari 250 GT SWB comes to my mind.

When it comes to Italian perfection, the Ferrari 250 GT SWB comes to my mind. ^^^^ What he said 🙂 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I never 'got' that car in terms of its looks .... little rocket-ship in its day but never tugged at my heart-strings like the 250 or the Aston DB4 Zagato to name but two of the cars I've loved from afar in my time 🙂 K

In my view, the Stratos is boldly designed and very cool. It is still extraordinary and exciting today.

I remember watching the Lancia on the RAC rallies.You coukd hear it entering the stage and most of the time it was missing it’s rear cover !
