Hi everyone!

First of all: I am very new in the Morgan community and got my Morgan v6 3.0 2010 yesterday. It has a customised dashboard with old toggle switches. I tried them out and after I turned on the hazard it stopped working. Now the hazard light and the flashing lights (left and right) are not working anymore. Everything else works. Since I am very new I was hoping somebody can give me an advice?

Regards,
Michael

A picture of the dash Michael would help identify what you might have there! 2010 is bang in the middle of a problem PCB era but yours having a set of toggle switches fitted might mean that you have had a simplified system fitted. If so it might just be fuses/relays or connections. You might have to drop the dash to have a look at the rear...... don't panic, a hard pressed young mum with kid's could do that in 5 minutes!

First check the the fuses, and then the earth wire, make sure it's not a" bad earth", and every connection is pushed in correctly.

Sounds like a fuse to me, much easier to check these before disturbing anything else

Yes check fuse 10 (15 amp) and replace if necessary. It also covers headlamp flash circuit so may be a clue if it's not working as well.

If that proves fruitless then as suggested above it may be a printed circuit board (PCB) issue. I'm also wondering if the dash switch replacement was fully checked. I believe the later PCB your car was fitted with used momentary (latching) switches.

Das hört sich nach Sicherung an. Da also zuerst ansetzen.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry for my late feedback and thank you so much for your help.

The car was delivered in a closed trailer and everything was working. The blinker was working but the sound was very fast and sounded a little bit suspicous to me but i dont know the "normal" sound of a blinker of a morgan v6 wink

I already changed the Fuse because that was also my first idea. Maybe all "extra" fuses are already broken as well because the former owner had the same issue and changed it or i maybe tried the wrong fuse. I will add a foto later of the fuse panel.

Here is a foto of the dash: https://ibb.co/TcQ9N1h

First time I drove a Trad I was suprised at the (to me) high-pitched / fast / quite annoying blinker sound. My Roadster is the same so I'm guessing "they all do that Sir".

Michael, your dash insert with toggle switches is non-original, I would speak to the dealer & perhaps look through any documents that came with the car and try a find out who made the revised version and see if a revised wiring diagram is available

MK used to offer similar https://www.mk-holztechnik.de/englisch/about-mk/index.html

And perhaps Morgan Park https://www.morganpark.de/shop/

It looks like an MK one to me. I enquired for my S1 Roadster before it was t boned . From memory it uses the same pcb & connectors.
