Currently I am running dunlop 404's on the front (I had them and wasn't using them). Is there a distributor for Blockley tyres in the USA? In the past I had ordered excelsior tires from Coker and when they arrived they were over 10 years old. I PROMPTLY shipped them back!

I forgot, how do you tell the age of the tire? I think the code is a number on the side of the tire.

if there are only 3 numbers you are really screwed as that was the system used in the 1990'2

Not the first time Coker have sold way out of date tires I had to return 14 year old tires. The proverb "Caveat Emptor" comes to mind.

I had the same problem with Blockley tires in New England. Ten years old and dry checking. Have been having problems getting Cokers and I think that they are doing a new batch soon.
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

I ordered two Excelsior Comp H tires from Coker in 2022. They sat on their sides for a year before installing them. I thought one of the tires was defective and ordered a replacement in 2023.
