No emissions rules providing it fits the motorcycle / sidecar / tricyle weight limit of maximum 450kg - which it doesn't... yet??

Replacing/mending a chain is more fun...
That is if you like getting greasy and mucky.
Hang on, it's a Morgan three wheeler we're talking about, greasy hands and flies on the teeth are de rigueur.

Hopefully the drive belt will be reliable...unless a stone gets in it of course...I know of a few BMW 800s which have wrecked their belts with stones trapped between the belt and sprocket. I got away with it on mine......just!
I wonder what the life of the belt will be and how easy it is for an owner to replace?

I wouldn't have thought it would be any more difficult than removing the rear wheel to deal with a puncture, apparently the bolts from the swinging arm have to be removed and the whole arm dropped down below the level of the fuel tanks so the long centre bolt can be removed, the drive pulley then comes away with the wheel, so I'm told! More to the point, I wonder what the cost of a replacement belt will be, I'm guessing around £100? Should a three wheeler owner always keep a spare belt in the car?

I wonder what the life of the belt will be and how easy it is for an owner to replace? Isn't there some sort of "belt guard" from a motorcycle shop one could adapt? Or perhaps a quick release "bash" plate of sorts?

I've been looking at a couple of photos of the rear wheel assembly and I'm just wondering how the wheel then comes away from the rear brake drum. I'm assuming its comes all away from the swinging arm as a whole but then there is the hydraulic hose to consider!

Also, I imagine that getting the tire changed at a traditional tire store might be problematic as well as their lifts are designed for 4 wheel vehicles.
To that point, where would the jack point be on this vehicle?

I was thinking it might be somewhere between the swing arms and seat rest? Even from the getgo I was wondering how difficult it may be to remove the rear wheeel. I do wonder what parts will have to be removed in order to replace the tire. Me too. It seems tricky, to be honest. Hell, it seems tricky to inflate the tire with it on. Also, I imagine that getting the tire changed at a traditional tire store might be problematic as well as their lifts are designed for 4 wheel vehicles. Couldn't they just use three stands in a pinch? Or perhaps Morgan has a new way of doing things: You pop the rear bonnet off and pull the swing arm upwards, out through the hole, lol.
