I had smile about the numberplate. I was thinking I‘m the only German with a „town-XG“ registration.
But now I see: there is a second one.

The last couple of runs out been unable to get an oil reading on the gauge thingy, as we have a trip planned to Jersey on Sunday decided on a quick oil change. Did a quick messy measure afterwards six and a half litres exactly. The b58 is probably the best engine BMW ever produced on a production car but I would have liked a dip stick . Em

Hi Clemens, that looks stunning, I now have dash envy....are you going to fit it yourself or via a dealer.
Our Plus Six dash has the brown wood finish from the factory, but its nowhere near as nice as yours.. Last year I fitted a Moto-lita steering wheel with the thicker wood grips in a brown finish, but the steering wheel wood colour is a lighter shade to our dash, so at some point I will have to see if I can stain the wood grips to match the dash.
