There's definitely echos of the original FAB 1. Now can't unsee that.

Long live the factory.

Indeed. First rules of business: 1. Know your customers 2. Make it easy for them to give you their money.

Coming up with niche offerings targeted at wealthy enthusiasts is a great way of turning Morgan into a Veblen brand. No point catering to us flat-cappers, we're not the future of MMC and besides there's more than enough stock on the market to keep us going for as long as we're allowed to drive ICE vehicles.

50 pre-sold @ £250k each is a good chunk of money.
Full hand build not Superform so expensive expertise needed there! English Wheel panel forming a d stitching of sections.
It is a fine weather car so actual drivers will be limited.
The design looks ok with just a couple of features as negatives.
It is clearly aimed at big money buyers wanting an exclusivity. More so than previous limited edition models (trads/CX/M3W etc).
MMC must think they can fit the build in, perhaps done elsewhere and/or final assembly in the factory where existing skills are there, such as interiors.
I wonder how it might get to the US ? That would be the ideal as a California car. Less practical elsewhere.

I think it looks fabulous. As others have said, I a not the intended customer so the practicalities (or lack of them) are irrelevant.

I shall be very interested to see which features (front & rear wings, tail treatment perhaps) make it into core Plus Six production.

In total agreement Paul - it's the future market they have identified thumbs

Just like the Aeromax before it, it has that very special ingredient that draws you in.

You know, it's not such a giant leap from this base to build the Eva GT. And if they did, the rich kids would be falling over themselves to get one.

I much prefer the shape and balanced design of the Eva, personally I feel a missed opportunity to get Pininfarina to design an amazing interior & tweak it to fit the CX platform, then bring out two trims, one cooking grade for us Mogplebs and a shiny stick on chrome trim everwhere 'super' for the investor/collector/poser

Here's what the Eva looked like. Now that's a proper car. Shame that "Deposits were taken for delivery in 2012......"
