Holden have been promoting the EZ Car Lift. I'm trying to justify the cost (SWMBO!) Has anyone used one? Any advice would be appreciated.

The EZ car lift is a very well made piece of kit and once purchased will repay the cost over and over again. Its so simple to use and gives great access to the underside of the car. I have used it on an a variety of cars including an early plus 4 four seater an ARP4 and a standard 4/4. Its so good I actually invested in some of the accessories and an alternative sized set of cross bars.

For a similar price you could get a proper hydraulic car lift with safety locks raising to a far greater height. See Automotech AS-7630![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/fSzNgwY.jpg)

I'd love a lift, but it would need to be light enough to carry round the front of the house, and work on badly laid concrete. I think I'm going to have to stick with jacks and stands until I can get the drive properly concreted.

If it's possible try and incorporate a recess to house the lift, mine sits on a garage floor & needs thick plywood ramps down each side, eg RichardV6 has to use scaffold boards

Another vote for the hydraulic platform scissor lift here, had mine for well over 10 years now and given excellent service ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2022/02/17/FA45581C-7082-4573-BC85-5E7B394A031D.jpg)
