Actually I may have answered above question myself. At a Mog gathering yesterday I noted a year 2000 T16 engined Plus 4 had the same Lucas STC4016 wiper stalk with relay operated intermittent wipe. Unless anyone can claim otherwise it seems possible this was used on same model at least back until 1992 when M16 engine in Plus 4 was replaced by T16. Not sure of wiper arrangements on other Morgans of this era though  Hi Richard My 1996 +4 4 Seater (T16) has the Triumph Dolomite stalks. I saw a 1997 +4 2 Seater (pre long door iirc) several years ago, in a dealer showroom, which had the later (Freelander?) stalks. Maybe this gives a clue as to the transition date? Many thanks David. I think the later stalks were first used on LR Disco 1 from 1994 on but note the dates MMC used them. Yes Richard, it is a Land Rover discovery stalk. Pulling towards yourself starts the washer motor & wipers. Release, washer motor stops, wipers do 4 more strokes. (2011 4/4) Thanks also Bob. Interesting that my car does three full wipes after wash command release. Since its down to timing on wiper relay it probably just means your wiper motor runs a little faster given the self parking means it will always complete a sweep.

Wish my 90 only did 3 sweeps. Winter/salted roads the fourth sweep only ends up smearing dry salt across the windscreen
