A tad pricey

It's a tricky one, I have a Landrover Discovery that i've advertised for sale, not had any serious enquiries but I know that i've advertised it for strong money because its a great motor and if it doesn't sell for good money then i'm happy to keep it a good few more years.

And then this one appeared this morning at a very realistic price to be perfectly honest in my view.

Difficult to make comparisons, but yes, the first one does seem a bit pricey, particularly given that it looks to have a Everflex hood, not Mohair, and black wires.

The second one at only 29,000 km since 1980 must have spent all its time in a garage! Either that or it is mising a 1 infront of the 29

Just out of curiosity what sort of price do people think a low mileage 2015 4/4 should be?

And they're both in Devon, 40 miles apart.

Advertise at 34k if you are happy to wait but if you want to shift 28k and be prepared to go to 25k I think would be realistic in todays market.

And of course as always it's very dependent on condition and colour choices - although both these are quite appealing. TBH even the 1980 car seems a bit OTT to me, Kent engine, 4-speed box, it will have been sprayed wings-on and very possibly the wood hasn't been dipped. I'd be looking very carefully at the condition underneath. The green one is at least 10k overpriced.

I think what a lot of sellers are forgetting these days is that the pool of potential purchasers for older Mogs is nowhere near as big as it was 20 years ago as people generally become less competent at looking after older cars.
