Hi all,

i need some help from your side, because my english is not really good i struggle with a spare part name .
Today i got my now hood (after waiting 10 month). The factory delivered a really nice looking greed mohair hood that fits
excact to my green leather interior.

But during installation of the new easy up hood i faced two problems:
- the release of the back part of the hood did't close after opening on one side. Fixed by removing the spare, some screews and use of a little WD40
- main problem: One of the "pins" that goes in the wholes is bent and doesn't fit very good. I want to order a new one, but didn't find it in the shops of
the known supplier. Can someone tell me how that "pin" is correctly called in english?

Andreas MMC bend the pins so that they go in straight. You can rotate them if you loosen the lock nut.
They appear to be part number ROP0270.
Brands Hatch Morgan have downloadable pdfs of the parts manual but I would try rotating the pin first.

thanks a lot. Thats exactly what i was searching for. I already rotated the pin, helped a little.
I never checked that the last two years because the hood is normally down :-)

Funny, they was bent by Morgan itself I thought the previous owner was a little
to strong ...

Will order one, than it should be ok.

It is also possible to adjust the downward tension / pull on the rear seal by unscrewing the pins a couple of turns at a time and re-test the rear fit (don't forget to tighten the locknut up)
