Good luck for a recovery. Two golfing mates are currently having chemo and looking positive. Both have a positive outlook and back playing.

4 cycles of chemotherapy completed.

Final cycle due a week today.

8 rounds of radiotherapy completed.

16 more due. Planned finish 24th July

More PETT scans to see if cancer has been reduced.

Weight reduction - going well! Down from 72 kg to 60 kg.

Currently needing a walking stick until strength improves.

Will need new spectacles - as eyes noticeably deteriorated.

No driving Stanley until September (prediction).

Gaining even bigger respect for local NHS hospital.

Current status: lying in Oncology Ward, following the General Election on my phone

This sounds very gruelling. Makes my day of painting a bathroom ceiling for aged parents and fitting a kitchen tap for them seem very trivial.

Keep at it - you will soon have the beast on the run.

It sounds as if you need someone to exercise Stanley Simon? Anytime you want me to take him around the block or even further afield let me know.

More seriously though, when you are up to it, I would be happy to take you for a runout in my ARP4 or in Stanley.
