I’ve found a 70 plate Plus Four with the BMW engine in manual. Being new to Morgan, how can I tell if it’s a CX platform car?

I expect it is. If it has wishbone suspension and not sliding pillars at the front and cart springs at the back it is. The BMW engine implies it is az does plus four not plus 4 as a badge

If it has a BMW engine it will be a CX not a Trad Morgan.

Insurance has come out at REALLY expensive though!

Paint should be. For me insurace was c £50 more than my Roadster at Gott & Wynn given the hikes in price thisyear. Others have gone for a normal car multi car cover.

Insurance has come out at REALLY expensive though! Would have thought the original manufacturers warranty might have expired by now, as I think it was 30 months + maybe some extra when the bad brake fiasco came about. A- pillar corrosion is not unknown and someone on here had one repaired and it bubbled up again. So you need to talk to the vendor to be sure of what is covered and for how long.

I’ve sat in a 23plate car this morning and the seat is so much better than the early car I liked - I’m actually sitting in the car and the top of the windscreen is above my eye line. It’s going to be a patient wait for the right car to come up!
