That’s not a bad idea.
There’s a small cutout on the back end of the pad but nothing anywhere else

Ok it’s off. Brute force and a bit of damage to the ally where I’ve been prising.
Only one Christmas tree up front but it was just completely wedged in the aperture.
Right. Switches ordered and I now need a polisher

I got one of these and it has been fantastic for all the tight spots including the motolita steering wheel, round the rear lights and door handles etc. also good on the grill which is just as well as quite expensive! https://amzn.eu/d/0hYNqbXT

I didn’t do the centre console but did do all the other chrome including the radiator grill with it and tight paint spots around the bonnet catches etc and it is a fantastic little tool. I was waiting on the Sifab replacement centre console which didn’t happen so left it but if I did have it this would make light work of it I think.

It also has extension shanks to help get into deeper areas and different size heads for small and larger pads and the batteries charge quite quickly so can keep charging one while using the other. It also worked very well polishing plastic and glass with the right polishes.
