Hoping someone can help me out here....

I'm trying to find a replacement pawl that's used on the self adjusting rear brakes on my 2019 (110 anniversary edition) Plus 4



Matt at Lifes Motors has had a ring round but can only seem to be able to get hold of the entire braking unit (about £250!) when all that needs replacing is the pawl (it works - but misses 2 clicks).

3134-886 is stamped on the item - but doesn't throw up any information I can use when I search on it
Anyone any thoughts as to any alternative part numbers / sources?

I read the part number stamped on the ratchet incorrectly - its 3134-860

I wonder if you could get the serrated edge case hardened ?

You would need to loose the galvanising Jon.

In any case does the adjuster normally wear that badly if greased?

Ian's one doesn't look so different to new one.
