So has anybody else seen that Morgan are offering bespoke part exchange support for a limited time of £5,000 plus VAT on top of your part exchange value when trading in your Morgan against the purchase of a new Plus Four or Plus Six. Morgan say it’s an unprecedented offer designed to continue your own Morgan evolution.

The car business is in crisis because they are failing to establish what the customers want, and pushing their own agendas at prices which are generally unaffordable. The three year lease contracts will only appeal to a certain cohort, and when you remove those who don't want a three year contract, and those who can't afford 60-70-80K and above, you limit the market.

And when you get up to that price point, you could buy a very nice car…just saying !

Which is why I bought a heavily discounted used CX. When I look at the very low mark up the dealer put on my old car you can see cash is king right now.

Not heard of that offer despite being on MMC mailing list, but I bet they wouldn't match my agreed value as a trade in offer +£5k  However did receive latest dealer offerings of CX's London Mog offering a P6 at ...wait for it... £117,000 Revolutions P4 at... £93,000 If you really had that level of spend available for a toy, would you really buy a new Morgan ?
