Interesting how some dealers seem to have lost the higher torque figure for the auto Plus Four unless it was a mistake in the published figure from MMC - 37 lbft more always seemed a big jump given same bhp. Also how MMC managed to add 9 mph to the top speed of Plus Four over a Roadster 3.7 with 30 bhp more confused2

Factory warranty will now possibly be expired. It needs to be a good price and the buyer needs to be ready to deal with the unexpected. (as any purchaser of a Morgan has to be)
Who knows? You pays your money and takes your chance!

For sure! I know it’s a bit of a “how long is a piece of string” but, On the basis of assuming the worst, wonder what the ballpark cost of a dealer dealing with leaking radiator actually is likely to be?

It is a 23 car and still in warranty as that is 30 months. I beleive replacement rads have a 6 year guarantee.
KH told me MMC pay them 8 hrs labour for a rad change & reflash to include the newer software on the coolant circuit.

Sorry, I was referring to the one that Flyfisher drew attention to and Finmac quoted in his last posting. That’s the Jersey one which is 2021.

Torque is higher in the Auto Box. Manual is restricted to protect the clutch and also for emissions.

I believe its about 2K to 2.5K in parts and labour for a rad change, maybe more depending on model.. this is from memory and I had this verbally last year.. so cant say its accurate or right.

Ref warranty on rads, dealer verbally told me that the latest fitted revision in the Plus Six came with a 2 year factory guarantee.. having said this, I have never had anything from a Morgan dealer written down stating the guarantee period, other than the factory original warranty. coffee

Wonder, does anyone know this car/ any comments on it please?

It was actually on auction about 6 weeks ago and bidding stopped at £52.5K plus buyers fees - seems it’s a dealer selling it.

It wants a good look over the bodywork and paint for dinks and scuffs, don't forget that although low miles it's been exported to Guernsey, used a bit then imported back that's lots of potential for scuffs (not covered under warranty) also non franchised dealer, so will your local proper dealer be happy to do any warranty stuff when he didn't make any sales profit ?

Might be a cheap un.

Not sure what the point of putting a bid in if it’s below reserve - presume reserve is known?

CX prices are all over the place at the moment!
This will not be good for any new Morgan sold (depreciation and/or PCP charges)....makes for a vicious circle.
However, if you are in the market for a 335bhp individual - sports car that is not German and you are a private buyer with the money. The market is racing towards you!
