Now here is someone with a good grasp on reality Cracking Plus 8 at good price. If I was after one I'd be looking at it right now, the condition of that steel bulkhead is a good sign as is the wing edge folds of dissimilar metals always a galvanic action area, unlike the later Superfom all alloy wings. Crude and basic maybe but shed loads of fun  And just up the road from me. It does look nice.

Good luck FT, I have a good feeling about this car it presents well and has the best engine and gearbox combination in my view (biased I'm on my 2nd one ). Be interesting to hear your views on the car if you get there.

That looks a steal! For that price buy, convert the rear to storage instead of seats, nice tourer. Clamshell rear " boot" and two seater hood. A low starting price to allow money to do the mods. Nice project for someone.

Surprisingly for a car of that age it looks as though the wings have never been off the car for a repaint. Certainly good value if nothing lurking underneath.

Surprisingly for a car of that age it looks as though the wings have never been off the car for a repaint. Certainly good value if nothing lurking underneath. I'm pretty sure the wings aren't original, an '82 poverty spec 4/4 would originally have the nasty steel rolled edge wire bead that corrodes, these look to have the bonded alloy U edge, which is a bonus

Be very careful about car sales on FB most of the very cheap ones are scam with pics stolen from Carandclassics or Auto Trader. Some posters have dozens of cars listed at a fraction of their value and can be found on other sites at their true price. CAVEAT EMPTOR.
