AERO8 2007 S3 warning lights coming on. First the RH indicator light stayed on. Then others started to glow slightly and then got brighter. Seatbelt light came on and unable to reset by disconnect and reconnect belts. Handbrake light on a nd no reset by handbrake operation. Occasional high pitch alarm as when ignition switch is initially operated. Alarm again when sidelights switched on but goes off when switched to headlights and stays off when switched back to sidelights. No apparent problems otherwise with vehicle functions. Had driven in some wet weather and recently filled with E10 fuel when E5 not available. Any ideas? This is my first post so apologies if not conforming.

Some electrical common denominator. Knee jerk response would be a shared chassis connection but that would more likely stop indications working BTW the fuel would most certainly not have a bearing on the issue.

The first thing to try would be to do a reset. This will wipe all of the error codes and may fix the problem. RHD car open the dirvers side of engine compartment you'll find a large silver box at the base of the windscree this houses the ECU, fuse etc.
Looking at this on the right had side you will see a balck plastic switch with a red button. Press the button, and part of the plastic swtich will "pop out" leave it a minute or so to allow it all to reset then push the part that has popped out back in. This will reset everything and wipe the error codes. With a little luck this will clear the issues if not its going to be more difficult to track down. I had a simialr problem with one of the sidelights after getting caught in the rain, fixed by the reset once it had all dried out.
Good luck.

Welcome to TM Richard. I also occasionally get the seatbelt and handbrake warning light on, seemingly for no apparent reason. It usually reverts back to normal after the ignition is cycled on and off a couple of times. The handbrake was definitely not on and the rear discs remained cool after driving.
I also recall a continuous warning noise if the indicator lever is left switched to either left or right when the ignition is switched off. I've also occasionally had a ticking click, like an indicator repeater, when the ignition is switched off. Couldn't find any reason for it and and nothing was flashing on the dashboard, it eventually stopped after about 30 secs with ignition off.
I also get a random orange engine check light on, this is linked to the petrol emission system and the sealing of the petrol filler cap, code P0442. I now carry a OBD reader to double check the code and delete the error as and when it occurs.
The electrical reset as described by Asbojohn above is a good option if cycling the ignition fails, but do remember to re-programme your electric windows after, to ensure they drop and close again on opening and closing the doors with the hood up. Lower each window and hold the switch down for 10-15 secs and repeat when raising the window. Again, I don't think the fuel will cause this issue, I pretty much only run mine on E10.

Thanks for responses so far. I operated the isolator switch when I got home, left it for a few minutes and reconnected with the problem still there. However, I just tried again after 36 hours isolated and this time only the parking brake light glowed slightly so it does seem to have a degree of reset or dryout. Further advice or opinion welcomed.

Is your battery good and well charged? The electrics in my aero play up when the battery is not fully charged even though there may be enough power to start it.

The fact that the warning lamps glow faintly suggests a resistive or secondary electrical path issue which a reset is unlikely to cure. A check of all dash connectors may be worthwhile together with a check for any chaffing of cables.

Battery is regularly charged and checked and I had done most of a 7 hour round trip to Silverstone when the problem occurred. Battery is isolated whenever parked for any length of time or at home. Has anyone had a similar problem investigated by Morgan Works or other dealer?

Had the aero out yesterday and got home with similar problems.
Horn randomly going off, indicators turning on main beam and the boot randomly trying to pop open.
As usual hit the reset which seemed to clear the issue but I think heat soak from a couple of hours of use is the issue and I have an earthing problems somewhere.
I did have a wiring diagram for an aero but can't find it now can anyone help?
Cheers
John
