So I’ve only had my CX for less than a week, and every time I drive her I end up with a dirty mark on my left knee. I must be doing something when getting in or out of the car that I need to avoid … and no, it isn’t crawling on the floor! lol !!

Any ideas? Is it just me?

Are you sure you are not brushing against a tyre wall as you approach the car ? Tyre dressing leaves exactly that mark if you are unlucky (e.g. at dealerships and car shows).

At least its lower down, some Morgans like to make deposits which seem to suggest you may have a weak bladder.

A common case of Morgan Knee, I’m afraid,
I had a chronic version for years. It comes from leaning to get things from the rear shelf.
Beware light coloured chinos!

I have had exactly same, think you are brushing the tyre at some point and the sidewall blacking they place on the tyre when its new or being sold is just catching yr jeans..

Interesting....Hmm... I seem to suffer a degree of polishing on the right side of my right shoe, which seems to match a degree of wear on the carpeting on the inner sill of my old +8..? I think that the issue may be a combination of the lack of suspension compliance, and throttle response...... Thus I may have adopted to maintain right foot contact with the inner sill carpet at all times lest I unwittingly accelerate any time I hit another pothole...? (-:

No it is not is not just you. Many owners are not aware to the special way you must get into a Morgan. Inevitably it leads to a cracked dash, a cracked steering wheel. or the braking of the collapsible steering wheel feature (the latter being very hard to notice! until it doesn't function in an accident (ugh)] Practice this until you get it right. https://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/allmorgan31.html#ENTERING

Luddite on the other hand, has stubbornly refused to have Melvyn Rutter's Morgan accelerator foot reduction (347 plus VAT) thumbs
