Unless you already have the V5c - you won't be able to order legal plates! Dealer should be sorting all that for you. Already sorted can be done from the retention certificate.

asbo: front: don't put one on PLZ!!!!! is like an automobile rear is biker-small Asbo: you drive yours to Geneva????  What's a front plate???? I think Geneva might be to far for it's first run. So when are you hitting the road and giving us the first owner review? Bet you can't wait. It does look the dogs, but please promise me we won't see a Liptons Ice Tea wrap on it . Thought someone was getting Morgan's legal team to pronounce on the need and type of number plates needed?
Whilst I'm happy to be wrong I still think you need both front and rear numberplates - car sized.
It is not clear though from a web search as one site I visited said motor bike derived - plate as a motorbike, and car derived, plates as a car. The Morgan of course is neither.
Still I think the fine for no plate when one is required is only £30 and no points.
Ah retention certificate - didn't think of that.

The plate requirement should be interesting as running without a front plate and a motorcycle sized rear plate will more than likely end up with being pulled over by the police! It doesn't matter if it correctly meets the requirements, you can't expect all coppers to know that........and they will probably want to have a good look at the car anyway

By "soup bowl" do you mean the air filter cover? It looks like a stock Harley fitment, and if so, you can get any number of custom replacements from a long list of vendors. Normally they are stamped steel and chromed, and they are trivial to remove and replace. Round? Oval? Skull? Carbon fibre? Perhaps a nice spike? Just Google "Harley Air Filter Cover". - Samwisekoi

Didn't aeroman get his painted body color from the factory? I believe it was at the beginning of this post. As I understand, Morgan will do just about anything you would like...for a price of course.

air filter cover: for motorcycles most are "teardrop" and 3 screws on the M3W: round and 4 screws happy to have mine in racing green
