We haven’t been up on the moor so far this year; is my favourite burger van still at the Hound Tor car park?
(for those not familiar with the area - the burger van is called ‘The Hound of the Basket Meals’!)

Probably, the good lady doesn't do burgers so I didn't notice, I'm sure it will be though as it's a captive market thumbs

Just back in from a sunset run around the Trossachs in the old +8, thought to share a pic with you. Again almost had the road to myself... (-:

210 mile trip to Shanklin on I.O.W. for MogFriends six night holiday. Warm sunshine start in convoy with the Morganeer. Got increasingly dull and misty as we approached M25 though with light rain thereafter. This made worse by advertised road works causing occasional slow movement on M3 despite no signs of anyone doing work. Morton remained dry inside as rain got heavier at approach to Lymington ferry but strangely leaked whilst stationary in queue. Dryish run across country lanes once on I.O.W. cheered us though.

The IOW trip is progressing well with many of the twists, turns and undulations of the islands roads becoming familiar. Yesterday a visit to Bembridge fort followed by excellent pub lunch at the Wight Mouse.

Gunpowder magazine.
