This afternoon we went up to Llyn Brianne reservoir via Ammanford, Llandeilo, Llandovery. We took Monty and parked by the dam before walking across the dam and around the opposite side. Several cars, campervans. It was BREEZY! The wind gets funnelled up the valley and over the dam. Sheltered by the hills on the walk though. Coffee from the burger van and the owner gave Monty a sausage so he was pleased. As the clouds were gathering a bit we decided against driving up the reservoir onto the Abergwesyn, Beilah-Tregaron road. Came back on a different route from Llandeilo, cross country past the National Botanic Gardens and through local villages.
A nice short run.

Up before five to go to Allon Whites for Shaun to do some trim work. The car shows 52 mpg as it is mostly dual carriageway
I had the hood due to fog and was amazed how quiet it was vs a trad.

Had a cracking run through the Blackdown hills and West Dorset from Exeter to Dorchester for a small evening car meet yesterday. My Porsche-driving friends didn’t expect to see me in a Morgan but she drew lots of attention at the meet.

Went with Hawki for a coffee in Saxmundham. The beet tractor and trailers were out in force but the weather was perfect.
We also went to the small museum in the town.

So a cultured day out
