Don't apologise - please continue. The 'Talk' on this site is more important than the 'Morgan' and it is good to read of your progress.

These comments are really appreciated.
The next significant date regarding my health, will be late November.
At this point, I’ll be scanned, tested and told whether the treatment has been successful!
However, my 4/4 is due to be returned next Tuesday.
woohoo

I am currently managing to drive my Mini and Susie’s Fiat Panda, so my first drive in the 4/4 will be quite a contrast!

This site is ‘Talk Morgan’ so my next update will be once my 4/4 is back in my garage and I plan to make the title of the new thread, “Stanley in Pitlane”
I’ll end this post by repeating how excellent Sean, Carl and all the staff at Berrybrook have been.

IMHO this site is not for cars but for people **and*** Morgans.

So no reason to apologise!!

4/4 - Stanley.

I've always maintained that the people are the community and, ultimately, what makes Talk Morgan what it is. I'm a firm believer that individuals may join out of an interest in Morgan sports cars but they stay because of the community, shared experience and warmth of the members.

Your journey is one that many of us can relate to, either directly or indirectly and I, for one, appreciate the updates; reading the comments of others, it is obvious I am far from alone in this sentiment. Furthermore, whether people add to this thread or not, I have no doubt they wish you well. I've often found that people don't know what to say when it relates to health concerns but, as I am sure you already know, this doesn't mean they are ambivalent or don't care. Far too often, the Britishness kicks in and we struggle knowing what to say with things emotive!

If you'd rather not continue the thread, that is one thing - and I can respect that. However, if you'd like to, then I (and obviously others), would be happy to lend a virtual ear, our best wishes and a big old man-hug (or should that be the British 'arm squeeze'! - just enough contact but not too much! laugh2)

This thread is no less valuable to the site than any other and I'd go as far to as suggest that it exemplifies what makes Talk Morgan what it is more than many others. The community is a tapestry of threads and the strongest, boldest and most powerful are the ones relating to the people who make up that community, of which this is a perfect example.

As always, sending you my best wishes,

Simon

Morgan's can't type. When you face adversity you find out who your friends are.

Given the guff we post which is not Morgan related I welcome being able to support in a difficult time to whatever level it brings distraction.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Budster, I'd like to continue following your recovery story. Simon, that was so beautifully written that I can't think of anything more to say in response than to wholeheartedly agree. And for me as a non-Brit, it was a very valuable insight into your manners.
