Fitted a stainless ring bolt to the rear panel in the luggage area and fitted a harness to my Springer Spaniel (Cassie) so we can take her with us in the Morgan. Popped her in and did a short run hood down to try her out. Now when we go into the garage she sits by the back of the Morgan !!! guess I've got a convert.

We have similar for Leo.

He prefers the back shelf to sitting in passenger seat when available as he can see out.

Gave it a go-through after the Goodwood trip ... took the opportunity to change the rear diff oil, top up the steering box and grease everything that stood still long enough (including the rear hubs) ... adjusted the fan-belt (on new when it was rebuilt and needed a tweek up to take out its initial stretch) .... gave it a good clean as it was a little travel-stained after such a mixed-bag of weather and mud ... least I could do considering its sterling service over the course of the trip! 🙂

Well got delivery of three of Henry's finest "new" wiper blades c/o his Librands area. Top quality.

I shall keep the old "boot scrapers" as I prefer keeping my cars exactly as per their delivery note. The only exception being the Aeroquip brake hoses as the brake efficiency was a marked improvement.

I have to say in 20 years of Morgan driving it's the first time I'll be able to see what's going on out there fully in the rain, a major improvement £50 seems quite enough though smile Ignore me though I can remember when fuel was half a crown a gallon doh and we all thought Savilles Travels was a good program..

I fitted a pair of 'sprung' blades bought via here (Peter?) when I was doing the resto (took one look at the originals and remembered the same on cars I owned way back with a shudder, so replaced 🙂) .... had cause to use them in extreme anger a couple of times during my recent trip (wipers on fast and torrents of rain) ... they left me pleasantly surprised (and relieved) as to how well they coped .... the wipers, and the way my new hood from Allon White kept out the water took the sting out of the weather..... could have made for many miserable miles without.

Richard, your Henry - Librands wipers are actually Peter's of TM fame (oh, that's a lot of confusing names) actually copied off my original idea - so perhaps they should really be called Jon's smile
