$74,500 plus shipping and import duties (and maybe State Tax too ?). I can't see this being a winning combination, although the forthcoming sales figures could prove me wrong.

Could be 30% of production though in the next 12 months, so worth having, but reliability will make or break this.

Good news. A potentially good boost that is long overdue.
The important back up to sales will be a must. A bad experience creates a big negative that is hard to get rid of.
Whenever I speak to US admirers of the car they lament the lack of getting one.
Times are tough in the new car business so a boost to the factory. A limit of 325 annual as a "replica" is still useful. A low volume production get- around of the regs.

At least the previous dealer network still exists, apparently, at least there are a few links to dealers on this page. https://www.norcalmog.com/The Super 3 is also sold in the USA. And more than 300 CX cars are significant for an annual production, which will not increase with the new CX models in these times, maybe in the future again, rather the production number would decrease if it had to be adapted to current demand, so less than in the days of the Trads.

That's very good news from MMC. With a capacity of approx. 1000 cars per year, there is at least the possibility of approx. 30% export to the USA

Yes it’s really good news for MMC and the very loyal American market, they have been very patient so let them share in the enjoyment. They will soon get to the bottom of the cooling issues as they know what heat is all about there.
